A valley full of Chrysothamnus nauseosus is a gorgeous sight. The flowers are bright yellow, blooming late in the summer season and form in clusters. The leaves have a whitish film. Some people will have an allergic reaction to this plant. It has a strong odor, maybe resembling the scent of sagebrush (Artemisia).
